Featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the heavy assault trooper, was a variant of the standard Stormtrooper used by the First Order. With the First Order’s struggle to rise to power within the Galaxy, they needed to create strong military and heavy artillery to defend them. The Heavy Gunner is named for the FWMB-10 repeating blaster that they carried.
